GLENN McWILLIAMS - of TK Torah Keepers
Rood Crew Torah Commentator

Born in 1957 to George D. McWilliams and Joanne J. McWilliams, Glenn and his older brother Dale grew up in the shadows of the steel mills in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Glenn learned the basics of the Christian Faith through his mother and grandparents. It was Marquis and Elsie Starkey that gave Glenn his first Bible in 1962. Glenn learned strength, courage, perseverance and how to stand up for himself, even against the crowd, from the tenacity displayed to him by his father.

With the support and blessing of his family Glenn received a B.A. in Sociology and Religious Studies from LaRoche College in Pittsburgh, and went on to receive a Masters of Divinity degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg, PA. Glenn served 20 years as a pastor in the Lutheran Church. During this time Glenn became aware of major contradictions between what was written in the scriptures and what was practiced by the Church.

Over time the Holy Spirit began to make clear the Hebraic Origins of the Faith. After leaving the Lutheran Church Glenn began an intense three year study of the scriptures in the light of Hebraic language and culture.

For years, Glenn McWilliams has been teaching Torah and recording and writing teaching materials to help other believers grow in their understanding of the proper place of the Torah in their lives. His ministry is an educational ministry dedicated to encouraging believers to live a Torah observant life. It is Glenn’s hope that he will be able to inspire and equip others to study, teach and live the Torah.

Glenn is married to a most supportive, beautiful and patient wife, Barbara. Barbara and Glenn have eight children and three Grandchildren, as well as many others who find hospitality in their home.

Glenn is very grateful to all of the Brothers and Sisters who have supported him throughout these very intense years. Some deserving of special thanks are Nathan Eslick, Bill Huffman, Brandon Cilla, Rashel Kamerling, Jerry Colson (Torah Man), Monte Judah, Brad Scott, and Michael Rood and the Rood Crew.
